Our History
An Innovent CDMO
Altruist is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Innovent Biologics, a leading biopharmaceutical company pioneering therapies that treat cancer - cardiovascular and metabolic - autoimmune and eye diseases. Since its founding in 2011, Innovent has launched 16 products in the market and has partnered with over 30 global healthcare companies.
In 2022, Innovent Biologics Group established Altruist Biologics to provide fully integrated CDMO services. Today, Altruist continues to build on that legacy to support partners in improving global health through accessible development and manufacturing solutions.

With a total capacity expected to reach 232,000 liters by 2026, our advanced GMP facilities ensure a stable and reliable supply of life-saving medicines to patients worldwide.
- Suzhou – Located at the heart of a global biomanufacturing hub, our Suzhou facility provides biologics development and clinical- and commercial-scale drug substance and drug product GMP manufacturing.
- Hangzhou – Our newest facility offers integrated development, large-scale manufacturing of bulk drug substance production with 4 x 20,000-liter bioreactors, and comprehensive drug product services.
